About the course

Breast Cancer Management Pathways during the COVID-19 pandemic

Highlight of this webinar
The COVID-19 pandemic has led to unprecedented alterations in cancer care and concerns that diversion of health care resources would compromise cancer treatment. However, here we report timely and safe delivery of treatment to patients presenting with early breast cancer in the UK during the COVID-19 pandemic. There are some detrimental repercussions of some ‘COVID-altered’ management, which includes the omission of immediate breast reconstruction, which is likely to have economic, service delivery and quality of life implications.
